The Kershaw Launch 5 side-open automatic knife is 1 of 7 models in the Kershaw Launch family–now sporting a limited olive drab green handle. Like many of the models that have been offered with different colored handles, each Launch features a premium stainless steel blade with solid marks on its edge holding capability and this model was built in collaboration with Ernest Emerson of Emerson Knives and consists of a generous thumb ramp and dedicated finger groove for enhanced grip. This model features an olive drab green anodized aluminum handle, a clip point style blade in a stonewash finish and the reversible pocket clip is designed for tip up carry only but is eligible for a left or right hand carry option. Made in the USA.
The Launch 5 is an Emerson designed automatic Knife that really delivers. Handle features, like the deep index finger groove and notched thumb ramp, contribute to safely utilizing this stellar knife. The clip point blade is stonewashed and made to tackle just about any chore you’d encounter. This Launch model sports an integrated back spacer and, in addition to the lanyard tie-off, has a reversible tip-up carry pocket clip.
